One Sunny Side Up Comin' Your Way![/u]
Name: Duskwind- Prefers being called Windy
Gender: Tom
Age: 16 Moons
Clan: Everestclan
Rank: Warrior
Description: Just as his personality suggests, he is as bright as the sun. With a handsome sandy pelt, he has golden tabby pelts and a smile as charming as an otter. His build is smaller than the average cat, though he can be considered larger for an Everestclanner.
Brilliant, adorable green eyes shine at you while his left forepaw is splashed white and his smile is as sweet as it is gentle.
With his cheerful nature, it is considered a rarity to see him without a grin on his face, even when he's sleeping!
Summary: Sunny tabby tom with lovely green eyes
Personality: An optimist, Windy hates to see anyone frown and takes it upon himself to cheer them up. Though he is fiercely loyal to his clan, he is also very quick to jump into other clans' business in his attempts to make everyone smile.
Outgoing, he often introduces himself before other cats' can even say
"Hello."
He is very popular with she-cats and can be a bit of a flirt every now and than, though he has never considered settling down and having a family.
With a good sense of humor and a positive perspective on life, he is great at persuading and comforting others, and whenever someone's feeling down, he's the right cat to go to.
History: Born a loner, Duskwind grew up with his mother and younger sister at the twoleg-place. Though they would've been mistaken as kittypets by anyone else, their father, Rainshower, was once a warrior of Everestclan.
When his mate's kits were born, she didn't want to be a mother and refused to take care of them. She was young when she gave birth to them and was frightened at the idea of raising children, therefore she left them with their father. She fled the mountains, fearing the clans would hate her for making the decision she did.
Though Rainshower tried raising the kits on his own, he knew that if he raised them in Everestclan they would eventually learn of their mother's neglect from their gossiping clanmates. He then made the decision to become a rouge, and he took his children with him.
They grew up with the help of a kittypet who Rainshower fell in love with. She bore Dusk and Delighla's step-brother, Moon. The three kits got along well, despite their opposite natures.
Moon was shy and serious, Delighla was smart and rebellious, while Dusk was energetic and possitive.
One day, while they were play-fighting, a twoleg came along in a large white monster and took the three away (Rainshower was hunting at the time and Moon's mother was cleaning the nests).
They were brought to a place filled with metal webs and were seperated from one another. Despite their terrible misfortune, Dusk kept his siblings happy throughout their stay, joking and chatting constantly to cheer them up.
Yet, as the days passed, he watched as first Delighla and then Moon were taken away by happy twoleg kits who came to visit with their parents. Finally, Dusk was left alone. At first, he remained optimistic, convinced that he would be let free and would be able to find his kin.
Moons passed, then seasons, until Dusk was 8 moons old. By then, even he, being the cheerful tom he was, had lost all hope of ever being freed. He grew sullen more and more until he stopped eating and moving altogether. The twolegs who checked on the cats grew concerned and took him out of the den for the first time in seasons.
The minute the sun met his golden pelt, he felt its warmth encouraging him to rise, stand, and run. A voice spoke to him, a Starclan cat most likely; telling him to return to Everestclan where he would be safe.
Summing up all his strength, he had leaped from the twoleg's arms and had ran with everything he had, determined to find the clan that he had faint memories of as a kit.
He traveled for days and days. Luckily, he had been taught how to hunt and fight sufficiently before being captured, and though he was inexperienced, he barely managed to survive. When he finally stumbled across the meadows, he collapsed and was soon found by an Everestclan patrol.
When he awoke, he was introduced to the clan. They asked about his background and why he was there, and when he explained, they realized that 'Dusk' must stand for Dusk-kit, the kit who was taken away by his father moons ago. Their predictions were confirmed after he told them who his father and sister were, and they took him in with open paws despite the fact that he had been a loner previously.
He sharpened his hunting and fighting skills and was made a warrior in no time due to his age and experience, and he was granted the name Duskwind.
However, when he joined Everestclan, his spirit was renewed and his loneliness was washed away after meeting so many friendly cats. He prefers to be called Windy and is still a warrior of Everestclan to this day.
